Awesome Experience!

When I first started looking into buying a house, I was interested in pre-existing single-family homes. However, after being disappointed with a few that I went to check out, my parents suggested looking into new construction townhomes. Being a first time homebuyer, I was really apprehensive about buying a house, let alone a new construction house.  I was nervous about finding the right community, arranging the mortgage payment, paying the taxes, etc. But when I drove through The Towns at Remington Pointe community on a Sunday afternoon, I knew I found my home. From the first time I talked to Pat on the phone, I knew this was going to be a great place to live. I did some research before I stopped in to view the models and when I walked in I was greeted by warm smiles. As soon as I walked into the first model, which was the one I subsequently purchased, I was blown away. The model was beautifully decorated, the floor plan was impeccably laid out and it was competitively priced. Walking out that day, I couldn’t contain the enthusiasm. I called my parents right away, told them I found the place of my dreams and they need to come and check it out. We all went out that Saturday (arriving before they opened so we could spend as much time there as needed), checkbook in hand, with the intent to buy. We did a walkthrough, had our every question answered by Pat and finally I asked Pat if I may purchase a townhouse.
 From there, the whirlwind of paperwork, picking out options, doing research on some of the fixtures and appliances ensued, but it was an exciting time and one that I documented with tons of pictures. It’s exciting to drive past the construction site on a weekly basis and see your house take shape. It is amazing how 4 months ago my lot was just a pile of dirt and now there is a complete townhouse that is progressing nicely. Words cannot describe the feeling you get when you look at the building materials and you realize that with every nail, shingle, window etc. placed, your house is taking shape.
 I am proud to say I am a homeowner and Town and Country Homes made the process amazingly simple and pain free.  Whenever I have a question, I know it will be answered promptly and adequately. I had heard horror stories about picking out options at a Design Center, by my interior designer simplified things to the point where a Finance person by nature could determine which grout color would best go with the ceramic tile I had chosen. I have nothing but great things to say about all the people involved in my home buying and building experience. I would never hesitate to recommend Town and Country Homes to anyone. Town and Country goes above and beyond being a “builder.” They are interested in getting to know you so they can recommend and help you build the house best suited for you. In addition to answering any question you have, Town and County has proactively kept me in the loop on several things. For instance, when my house broke ground, Pat send a letter with a bag of dirt saying my house has started to be built. Then during Christmas time, I received a couple of cards from Town and Country Homes and also a gift (appropriately a sledge hammer).
 In the midst of scandals, inferior quality, and delays, very few people get that “warm and fuzzy feeling’” when they mention their builders. However, I am one of the select few that not only have nothing but great things to say about Town and Country Homes, but also know that my house is being built well and in a timely manner. Thank you Town and Country for making my first home buying experience an absolute pleasure!
