Shopping

Gramercy Park West

Although downtown Greensboro is now mostly a business center, there are still a few good places to shop. There are some great second-hand stores and book stores. Elm Street is still a shopping street, and the buildings are reminiscent of turn of the century America. It also has neat little American cafes nestled among the stores.

Four Seasons Town Center, commonly known as "the Mall," is located off of High Point Road, and is serviced by  the Greensboro public buses. The Mall has over 200 stores and a food court. Opening hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m to 9:30 p.m and Sunday 1:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m.

Friendly Shopping Center, located off of Friendly Avenue, is an open air shopping area with many stores, including the grocery store Harris Teeter which is open 24 hours.

Wendover  Avenue has gigantic discount stores, such as Wal-Mart, K-mart, Best Buy and Target, along with many restaurants.
