Thomas J. Pellerito, Chief Operating Officer, has 30 years of homebuilding experience and is responsible for leading all of the Company's field operations.  At the corporate level, he is also responsible for product development, purchasing, quality, marketing, sales and homeowner services. 

Prior to his current role, Mr. Pellerito was Landover Group President, where he oversaw the operations of nine homebuilding divisions within Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Delaware, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  Prior to his position as Group President, Mr. Pellerito was the President of Homebuilding, the Chief Operating Officer, and the Director of Washington Homes, Inc.  Mr. Pellerito joined K. Hovnanian homes when Washington Homes, Inc. merged with the Company in January 2001.   

Mr. Pellerito began his homebuilding career in 1980 with Pulte Homes Corporation in Denver, Colorado.  Five years later, Mr. Pellerito moved to the Washington, D.C. area in order to start Richmond American Homes of Virginia for MDC Holdings, Inc.

Mr. Pellerito is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. and is also a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. Mr. Pellerito is involved with numerous charitable and civic organizations in the Washington, D.C. area.
