A Texan most of his life, Jim Rex has become an expert in the Southern California home building market.   Mr. Rex has overseen explosive growth in the Inland Empire Region during his eight
years with the company, helping K. Hovnanian become one of the top builders in the region. 

Mr. Rex joined Forecast Homes in 1997 as Area Manager for the Inland Empire Region and was named Division President later that same year. After K. Hovnanian purchased Forecast in
February 2002, Mr. Rex continued his climb within the company and was named Region
President in 2003. 

Prior to coming to Forecast Homes, Mr. Rex worked for Centex Homes in Texas.  In fifteen
years with Centex he worked his way from purchasing agent to President of Home Building operations, first in Fort Worth then in Houston.

Mr. Rex earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Economics from the University of Texas-Arlington.  In his spare time he practices martial arts and plays racquetball.
