LONG BRANCH, N.J. – The Bluffs at Beachfront North was named "Community of the Year" at the 2004 Sales and Marketing Awards which honors the state's most exceptional residential communities.
The new townhome community rising along the revitalized oceanfront in Long Branch was singled out amongst some 1,000 entries at the annual event, which is dubbed "A Tribute to Excellence" by its sponsor, the New Jersey Builders Association.
The new oceanfront community features 104, three-story townhomes in a resort-like atmosphere and a convenient Monmouth County location. Eight distinctive townhome designs offer three and four bedrooms and from 1,853 to over 3,300 square feet of living space at pre-construction prices ranging from the $600'sto over $1.8 million.
The Beachfront North community also features The Grand Resorts, 179 single-level condominium residences in three elevator access buildings. Seven distinctive designs feature one-to-three bedrooms, up to two baths and from 1,075 to nearly 2100 square feet of living space at pre-construction prices ranging from the $400's to $700's.
The combined 283-home community is already more than 50% sold out, according to The Matzel and Mumford Organization, which is developing Beachfront North in joint venture with Applied Development Company.
"The unique opportunity of living in an exciting new community overlooking the ocean has captured the imagination of the public," notes Richard Selikoff, Matzel and Mumford's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
"We've enjoyed tremendous sales activity, and construction has progressed rapidly. Our first residents have already moved in, while the community's private two-story clubhouse will open in July with a fitness center, lounge area, clubroom and heated outdoor swimming pool and spa."
The Bluffs' expansive townhome floorplans boast formal living rooms, well-designed kitchens, a luxurious master-bedroom suite with an oversized bath and a number of upscale features and appointments.
Extensive landscaping throughout the community and rear alleys that mask the townhomes' garages fosters a picturesque streetscape. A number of the homes face the ocean, offering spectacular unobstructed views.
The Grand Resorts' condominium residences include formal living rooms, open kitchens and a luxurious master bedroom with an oversized bath. One enclosed parking space with elevator access comes with each home, as does a private balcony.
"In addition to the oceanfront setting and convenient location, residents will all cherish being just minutes down the boardwalk from quaint Pier Village with its pedestrian-friendly, village atmosphere complete with boutiques, dining and entertainment," Mr. Selikoff points out. "Long Branch also offers numerous local shopping opportunities, and the nearby oceanside towns of Seagirt and prestigious Spring Lake boast lovely parks and tended gardens."
