Dear Mr. Simat:

I’m writing to let you know how much my wife and I appreciate the help that Mr. Roosevelt Williams gave us recently with the purchase of our new home.  The sudden change to the house plans concerned us greatly, as you can imagine.  We also were having a difficult time visualizing the change that we were considering.

Mr. Williams was kind enough not only to describe to us how the lot would look with the change, but he even went so far as to go to the lot with us and stake it out so we could see for ourselves.  For a while, we were seriously questioning whether we’d be able to move forward with the significant change from our original plans, but Mr. Williams helped us to realize it would look just fine, we’re back to being excited and we look forward to the completion of our new home.

Speaking of completion, I know we’re somewhat behind based on the discovery by K. Hovnanian of our need to change the lot.  Even so, we would very much appreciate all efforts made to fast-track the foundation work and stick to the original closing date. We’ve got a lot of wheels in motion, and really need to stay within the original time estimates if at all possible.
